These days it seems that everyone has a MySpace profile. Certainly MySpace is an excellent tool for networking, meeting new friends and getting the word out there about your latest deeds. For some time now I had my own profile online, but had barely done anything to customize or use this. Then a few days ago I was inspired to finally make use of MySpace, and now have a brand new, totally cool space of my own.

My new profile page barely looks like it should be on MySpace at all, except for the obligatory linkage in the header (removing this would be a violation of the T&C's). For this I used the DIV overlay method, so I can customize my profile to look however I want, while keeping all the useful links and information in place.

In the near future, I will post full details of how I customized my profile page to look like this, though I will say now that it takes some time and a required knowledge of HTML coding!
